We are indebted to a select group of individuals who have made significant financial contributions to ensure the long-term sustainability of Coggeshall Farm Museum.
Generations from now, children and families will benefit from these contributions which helped to create a strong organization ready to withstand the test of time.
The 1790 Society honors individuals who have contributed $1,000 or more in a single year through a donation, donor-advised fund, IRA Rollover, stock gift or other financial donation. All members of the 1790 Society receive Lifetime Membership to Coggeshall Farm Museum and are honored and remembered at our annual meeting in June.

Taxpayers age 70½ and older are required to take annual distributions from their IRAs, which then are included in their adjusted gross income and subject to tax. The IRA charitable rollover permits taxpayers to make donations directly to charitable organizations from their IRAs without counting them as part of their AGI. This rollover distribution counts toward the required minimum distribution for IRA holders.
