Celebrate the beauty of our 1790s salt marsh farm through musical and artistic interpretation! Hear the Old Sturbridge Village musicians play some tunes, learn about historic instruments, and meet Deborah O’Connor, a local silhouette artist. Don’t forget to stop by the kid’s craft table to work on a masterpiece of your own!

The Silhouette Lady

Before photography became popular, silhouette artists captured your likeness to share with friends and family. Rhode Island-based silhouette artist Deborah O’Connor, known as The Silhouette Lady, keeps a classic tradition alive by hand-cutting silhouettes using only paper and scissors. She will be onsite to create silhouette keepsakes for an additional fee of $30. Pre-registration is required.

The silhouette keepsake is custom-made; frames are available for an additional fee.

Please sign up for a time block below. You can expect to spend about 10 minutes with the artist to have your silhouette keepsake made.
