In January 2020, Old Sturbridge Village and Coggeshall Farm Museum began an innovative new partnership. Old Sturbridge Village now manages the daily operations of Coggeshall Farm through a management contract.
Coggeshall Farm Museum remains committed to interpreting early New England life on a marsh farm in southeastern New England. The partnership of the two museums creates a regional coalition of committed volunteers and staff dedicated to ensuring that living history thrives in New England. It creates the opportunity to take our models to scale – and to think bigger and broader about the role of public history in the everyday lives of our citizens.

As part of a new, transformational partnership with Old Sturbridge Village, Coggeshall Farm will reopen to visitors with a continued commitment to interpreting rural life in early New England. Over the course of the upcoming months, we not only look forward to bringing back visitors old and new, but also animals, programming and events to bring our marsh farm to life for all to enjoy.
