Time doesn't stand still at Coggeshall Farm Museum. And neither will you!
Have you ever milked a cow? Made your own candle? Cooked a meal over an open hearth? Searched for real eggs in a hay barn? These are just a few of the experiences students and families can have at Coggeshall Farm Museum.
Step back in time and discover what life was like for Rhode Island farmers in the late 18th century. Use their tools. Sit in their furniture. Taste their food. See life through their eyes!
We're open Tuesday through Sunday all year long for daily visits. Every season brings new activities to the farm... from wood processing to laundry day, from maple sugaring to gardening, there's always a chance for you to actively participate in the life of our farm.
We host school groups, summer camps and scouting groups, too. You can participate in a workshop or join us for a major event, like the Rhode Island Wool and Fiber Festival or Harvest Fair. Whether you're coming as a family, a group of friends, or your whole grade, there's always something new for you to discover at Coggeshall Farm Museum.
We hope you'll visit us soon!
